The Creator
A 25-year journey around the world. A love affair with Asia & America. Emotions – Meetings – Learning. The years have shaped the creator.
Cyril Bismuth creates jewelry. By integrating a part of him, a part of his travels, and a part of his emotions. By integrating a part of others, and pieces of life in spiritual symbols of cultures. Cyril Bismuth gives his creations much more than splendor … he gives them a soul.
In compliance with the rules of gemology learned at ING (French Gemological Institute), he works with the metals together with his teachers at school on Louvre Street. He creates necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and sautoirs.
Equipped with this knowledge, he becomes the founder of a fashion movement rooted in the present, based on ancient jewelry codes, while revisiting the Bohemian Jewelry for his luxurious ethnic collection.
The Concept
Inspired by the whole but keeping only the essentials. Allowing the exceptional to invade the basics. A luxurious jewelry collection through ethnic colors. This is the spirit created by AARON JAH STONE, designed by Cyril Bismuth. Luxury for every day. Merging stone to a simple mesh. And to feel good. Wearing a necklace with another. Or with several. Play. Shine. For a bold and confident style.
Then, an encounter with materials. The stones, the assembly, the creative research. Straightforward for Cyril. Each necklace has a history. A unique piece produced by his inspirations. As Cyril gives a soul to his jewels.
Wearing Aaron Jah Stone is like travelling. Imagine the story of this adventure.
Going around the world.
In Egypt, Aaron means “Lion Warrior.” Jah means “God” in Ethiopia. What better image to summarize the encounter between cultures and symbols? The man and stone, the spiritual and the tangible.
Each creation is the promise of a new alliance. A discovery, an elegance, a protection. Each creation is a promise of escape, around the world.
Like everything that matters in life, a wonderful trip is a work of art. It is also a gem. That is the inspiration of Cyril Bismuth.
The Technique
Amihai, a jeweler in Thailand, provided Cyril the fundamental techniques of ethnic jewelry, combining precious stones with gold and silver ornaments.
Diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald, tourmaline or sugilite are all colorful mineral components carefully selected during his travels to Asia. Decorated with a central stone, his creations are an opportunity to marry the perfect symmetry of Yin and Yang to the spirituality of the Middle East, thanks to the red Bible string.
Constantly seeking the best synergy between the different gems, Cyril Bismuth shall preserve and coordinate the virtues of each stone, to guard the holder of the adequate aura.
Happy the man who, like Cyril, went sailing afar…
An Aaron Jah Stone jewel.
The promise of a beautiful encounter.
The Pocket Watch
For the 15th anniversary of Aaron Jah Stone, founder Cyril Bismuth wanted to create a precious timepiece.
Inspired by Texan style and culture, the designer revisited the pocket watch with influences straight out of the Wild West.
The result is a talking-point piece that already has tongues wagging in the world of watchmaking.
An Aaron Jah Stone necklace becomes a pocket watch, designed to fit 36mm dials thanks to an ingenious system developed using 3D technology.
The case is made in France from solid silver which is then hammered, oxidised and set with 12 stones to mark the hours, including sapphires, tourmalines and turquoises, underscoring Cyril’s design DNA as a stone hunter who travels the world in search of his treasures.
